Synopsis

Elysia finally reunited with her twin, but it came at a cost…

Now they were on the run. Many factions chased them for their own reasons, most of which were unknown to the twins. All they knew was they had to stay ahead of them. Something Sereia knew all too well.

However, the most dangerous of them may not be those chasing them. The twins may run right into the net of another faction. A faction whose goals differed from those pursuing them, but the question was if those goals conflicted with the twin’s own.

That wasn’t the twin’s only problem. The reward from Mezo gave more than expected. Questions and answers about their heritage came bringing gifts. Those gifts came with strings attached, but also a clue to why those chasing them wanted them so badly.

No matter the challenges ahead of them, now that they were together as a family, they would face them head on. Those who sought to control them may get more than they bargained for. The very reason several factions sought the twins gave them the potential to surpass all.

What to expect:

- Gradual strength progression. Meaningful growth. The MC is a normal guy dumped into the Narutoverse, starts out weak and has to work and struggle for everything he gains.

- "Slow" paced. My writing style is a zoomed-in look camera that follows the protagonist. It might seem slow, but I ensure something is always happening to progress the plot forward.

- Gritty and often bloody fights and actions scenes with a focus on taijutsu—you'll see individual combat, team fights, and large-scale battle.

- A different take on the Narutoverse. The world is full of superhuman mercenaries with liscenes-to-kill—that along with the protagonist's struggles paint the world in a much darker light.

- Additions and expansion to the "chakra" power system. I consider myself a conservative when it comes to adapting the power system—and aim to retain the original feel while highlighting the best parts.

- The Outsider's Resolve version of Narutoverse uses the [Naruto Manga] as the base—with additions from anime, books, and even Boruto (though very less likely).

I am trying to go with a survival/"no modern tech" setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.

It turns more political between the various clans later on.

All characters are +18 including the monsters, who are sapient with the ability to consent. Some scenes have villains committing acts of sexual violence, but there will be no non-consensual sex scenes with the protagonist.
