Synopsis

Amarl is a hizeen, a half-spirit, and the first of his kind ever to enter Askula Academy, whether he wants to or not. There, he joins the other novices seeking to become ithtaru, the supernatural defenders of the Umpratan Empire. He’ll learn the arts of battle and magic, and the secret to the powerful abilities that make ithtaru an invincible force.

Askula isn’t welcoming to any novice, though, much less one of his unique heritage. He faces challenges from without and within his school: jealous classmates, violent older students, murderous monsters, and instructors who will stop at nothing to forge him into the weapon he must one day become.

Amarl’s blood runs true, and the power hidden within him is vast and deep. Will it be enough to keep him alive when entire worlds want nothing but to see him dead?

Askula Academy is a LitRPG academy-based fantasy set in another world. It contains profanity, violence, gore, and references to adult situations.

What to expect:

- Gradual strength progression. Meaningful growth. The MC is a normal guy dumped into the Narutoverse, starts out weak and has to work and struggle for everything he gains.

- "Slow" paced. My writing style is a zoomed-in look camera that follows the protagonist. It might seem slow, but I ensure something is always happening to progress the plot forward.

- Gritty and often bloody fights and actions scenes with a focus on taijutsu—you'll see individual combat, team fights, and large-scale battle.

- A different take on the Narutoverse. The world is full of superhuman mercenaries with liscenes-to-kill—that along with the protagonist's struggles paint the world in a much darker light.

- Additions and expansion to the "chakra" power system. I consider myself a conservative when it comes to adapting the power system—and aim to retain the original feel while highlighting the best parts.

- The Outsider's Resolve version of Narutoverse uses the [Naruto Manga] as the base—with additions from anime, books, and even Boruto (though very less likely).

I am trying to go with a survival/"no modern tech" setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.

It turns more political between the various clans later on.

All characters are +18 including the monsters, who are sapient with the ability to consent. Some scenes have villains committing acts of sexual violence, but there will be no non-consensual sex scenes with the protagonist.

Bonus Chapters have extra-kinky material segregated from the plot to make them skippable if they're not your thing.
