Synopsis

The heroes have found respite. Now it’s time to rejoin the battlefield.

Jake and his wives have grown their family, and stayed out of battle as prescribed by the goddess. They caught their breath from their endless series of battles, but that didn’t mean they sat idle.

The family has trained and built up their brethren instead. The dungeon on Highlands has opened, and their allies have conquered worlds in their name, expanding their kingdom. Ruling a kingdom that spans the stars, Clan Hart will soon rejoin the battlefield.

But the dungeon has wanted Jake’s family dead for years, and his been waiting for this moment to strike. Danger lurks among both the good and evil forces, plotting to destroy their family and kingdom. To defeat its evil plots, Jake must find more allies and build ties.

Their guild was built to face these threats. But can they stand up to the challenge, or will they be crushed by the dungeon’s malicious cunning?

'Cliche' plot elements are bound to appear, so if you easily get triggered by such things, keep away. And I would advise you to not even start the story if you are an ardent believer of 'Good shall prevail over the Evil'. Keep away! MC here is a Villain! But yes, he is not someone deprived of emotions, even though he is a Scum. So, do not expect an outright Evil MC either.

It didn’t really matter, either; he kept us safe, warm, and fed, and in a world like Ruyanei you don’t just turn that down lightly. Especially people like us. Even early on, he was everything we could have asked for in a master, so I guess it’s no surprise that we all chose to follow him.

Not that it wasn’t dangerous. Being who he is, it was pretty inevitable that he’d have a lot of enemies. But I’ve never once regretted my decision, even with everything that’s happened, and I’m pretty sure everyone else feels the same way.

This story is a repost of a storyline written over on CHYOA. I was recommended to post it elsewhere so as to get more eyes on it, and since I'm always hungry for more feedback, I decided to upload it here as well. Having now exhausted my backlog, my upload schedule will be sporadic, but I do try to ensure my chapters fall between 2.5k and 5k in word count so you'll at least have something to chew on with each new update.

Fair warning: This story contains significant amounts of smut. It began as a smut story, and while it quickly grew beyond that, the sex is still an integral part of it and is explicitly described. Also, it grew out of a choose your own adventure prompt, which on CHYOA was the first chapter of the story. While I adhere to the prompt in most cases, I'm not afraid of changing things if I feel it benefits the story to do so. You can find links to the three images that make up the prompt at the beginning of the prologue.
