Life is a series of ups and downs, and Emmy and Leah experience extreme highs and extreme lows during the course of the story. It is not my intention to simply write an emotional rollercoaster, but many readers have found the tragic parts of the story to be too much for them. I hope that any reader who chooses to read Emmy And Me to the end (and yes, there will be a definite end) will find the journey rewarding, through all the joys and the sorrows.
WARNING: This story includes descriptions of sexuality between women. If this isn't something you want to read, or is illegal where you live, please enjoy one of the thousands of other stories here on Royal Road.
It also contains violence, both perpetrated by our main characters and against them. Although infrequent, it is an important part of the story and can be quite sudden and shocking.
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid.
Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do.
But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting.
“What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that.
Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too.
Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death.
But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me.
I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars!
All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary.
With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on.
It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush?
I have all the time in the world now.
(Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)
The Great Winter reaches its third year and creatures of nightmare thought to be long extinct roam the land once more. Heroes will rise, for this will be the age to end all ages.
The spirited girl escapes the shackles of tradition, searching for adventure, finding much more.
The craven boy goes after her in the name of love.
The man with no hand seeks an old friend, and the dragon searches for that which will restore her race.
The hero-turned-blacksmith leaves his family to save the world. His friend the King wishes him dead.
The blacksmith’s son goes after his father, questioning what it means to be a hero.
Their paths intertwine. They guide the Winds of Fate, weaving the song of our salvation. The Twilight of the World approaches.
The Heroes of Faengard will ride again. Let the sun rise, and the world be reborn through the ashes of war.

A dark evil threatens the world that Kass recently found herself in, but she is no hero, just a girl that is trying to survive another hour. Join Kass on her journey through hostile lands and dark dungeons where she will come across all sorts of trouble as well as the occasional loot. If she's lucky, maybe even epic or legendary! It doesn't take long for Kass to realize her spot on the food chain with hungry monsters at every turn, but through thick and thin she begins to learn just what it takes to survive in this new world. She is but a lone wanderer. A Vagabond.
This story is written as a LitRpg. It contains class systems, skill trees, and of course, lots of loot. (Don't be alarmed to not see any class systems in the first few chapters, they'll be there soon enough)
So my name is Neesha, or rather Princess Neesha Astrites Panval Helenides of Trieste, and I am not happy...
Neesha is the archetypal spare - the youngest princess of a backwater kingdom being shipped off to marry some creepy old man, but when her carriage crashes and she miracuously survives she sees an out - in the melting pot city of Malin - and resolves to quit royal life and see if she can make her fortune, or at least a living...
Of course then she's attacked by bandits...
Secret Abdication is a LitRPG fantasy adventure I'm writing for writathon. It's based on an idea I've had for a while so hopefully I can keep up the pace!! There will be archery, sword fumbling, systems, murder most foul, doubles, levelling, cynical middle aged men who think they are old men, well meaning older brothers, classes, amused older sisters, carpentry, doubles, cross-dressing, dramatic reveals, doubles, romance and silly songs and more doubles.
Timing is both good and bad - I'm off to hospital tomorrow so have a day to write as much as I can and then there will be a break but then I have all that boring recovery time off work to try and motor through some more!
Chapters will be about 2500 words in length (if you've read my other work you'll know that for me this will be a challenge in itself!) and posted as I write them during writathon...after that we'll see!
Book 1 is now live on Amazon and KU! The link is here: The Distinguished Mr. Rose
There is one thing in life Lucius values above all else, and that is beauty.
As the humble owner of a flower boutique, one with a bloody secret hiding underneath, Lucius is surrounded by all the beauty he could ever want. Flowers, art, and even people... everything in no short supply.
But when he's suddenly whisked away into the sky along with the rest of humanity, and forced to participate in a series of games, trials, and adventures into foreign dimensions by astral beings, Lucius discovers a new frontier full of possibility. This wide universe, these unique lands brimming with beautiful, blossoming souls—the world is endless, and so too is inspiration.
With style, with grace, and with a gentlemanly candor, Lucius seeks to draw out the inner beauty in all.
And he will not rest until they bloom as their truest selves.
What to expect?
- A villainous, but gentlemanly, MC
- Excursions into a wide variety of worlds
- Classes and Skills
- Deception and manipulation
- Tea parties
- No senseless evil or violence. Lucius is not going to go on a random murder spree or commit vile acts just because he felt like it. He's a gentleman after all—he abhors being vulgar.
- A man who knows full well the type of nature he has, and revels in it.
Will update daily until chapter 50, which will then shift into two times a week: Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Ioan Starfall, a Nordstaii teen on the cusp of adulthood, drowned as his village was set ablaze by a dragon.
I woke up in his body and refused to become a hero to seek revenge when offered incredible power by a witch. You, see I've got far more important things on my to-do list. For a biochemist like myself reborn in the land of Nordic cultivators and giant monsters there's a whole new world of science to explore, witchy powers to experiment with, and magical creatures just waiting to be dissected. Mwa ha ha ha.
>My other books in the same universe!
Even in a world with witches, sorcerers, and alchemists, psychics are rare. There are normally fewer than a hundred in a century—which is why the Torr is so confounded when they get a letter from the headmaster of an English boarding school who claims that there are over a hundred psychics studying at his school. When all their investigations turn up nothing, they call on the head of all Torrs, Jack Noctis, the embodiment of death.
But Big Jacky doesn’t know what to do about it either, and he’s skeptical about his ability to do anything. He asks Darius Vasil, Conrad Bauer, and Emerra Cole to go in his stead. Between the vampire’s super-hearing, the wolfman’s amazing sense of smell, and Emerra’s legendary Eyes of the Sphinx, he’s hoping they’ll be able to find what everyone else has missed.
When they arrive, what they find is that the psychic powers are appearing more frequently and becoming more powerful every day. They need to figure out what’s going on before the situation spirals out of control.
