The power Slate Graystone needs to remain the ducal heir is just out of reach, and he’ll do anything to get it. Even become a demon.
Battling new instincts, ravenous hunger, and struggling to find her place in a world that’s much darker than expected, Slate—now Silk—will fight to claim the life she rightfully deserves. A life for her and the mundane folk she was sworn to protect. But when Silk learns that the corruption left in the fallen Empire’s wake runs far deeper than her own, she’ll need to choose: stand by noblesse oblige, or tear the whole system down—and the Sects with it.

In the wake of the Battle of Katze Plains, the banner of Ainz Ooal Gown flies proudly over the city of E-Rantel. The Sorcerous Kingdom has entered the world’s stage to the clamour of death and devastation; the surrounding nations fearfully prepare even as they reel from its calamitous debut. Within the borders of the newly annexed realm, its Human subjects cower in their homes as the Undead openly walk the streets and stalk the lands. Yet, when a destitute noble finds herself under the auspices of an unlikely benefactor, events are set into motion that will resound over the world for ages to come.
A kingdom builder based on the events and setting of Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord. In a fantasy world where beings of matchless power are transmigrated from the arbitrary existence of a game, Valkyrie’s Shadow chronicles the lives of the natives whose reality has been turned upside down by their advent. It is the tale of a nation created by the whims of a supreme sovereign, and his unstoppable servants who each have their own, often twisted, interpretations of their Master’s Will.
There is no victory in strength; no miracles wrought from magic that will save them: only the inexorable advance of a new world order where those who secure a place of service within will find themselves turned against the world that they once knew.
[Slow buildup. Methodical storytelling with a focus on well-rounded kingdom building and character development.]
What would happen if Mana touched a Realm thus far deprived of it? Well, the people of Earth are going to find out, and it's not going to be pretty.
The moment the barrier that kept supernatural powers out collapsed, the only thing keeping the little pieces of floating rocks and the tiny people living on them intact, was the System’s intervention.
Mia, being one of those tiny people on the little floating rocks in the middle of the void, had much bigger problems though. Like goblins trying to get a nibble out of her guts.
It’s not all bad though, she might have monsters trying to eat her, have disturbingly pointy ears and an obnoxiously pink mane of hair, but she seemed to have some talent for magic. Everything is going to be just fine. Right?
Expect: - Female, Gay MC - An MC that doesn't miraculously take to fighting goblins to the death like a seasoned murderhobo. - Arcane Magic! UNLIMITED POWAH!(not really) - A mostly benevolent System. - I'm still figuring out the rest, so that's about it for now. - MC starts out as a bit of a doormat. She slowly starts getting better at around ch 12 though. It's called character development, even if my MC is dragging her leg a bit too much at the start.
Schedule: Monday 6PM CET and bonus chapters on Friday 6PM CET (if there are any)
The Vex are a monstrous species. A ruthless swarm of man-eaters and a plague upon any nation unlucky enough to find a hive within their borders. The world over, the Vex are to be killed on sight, lest they grow and consume all in their wake.
Rythica is one such monster. A hive queen, no less. Through a quirk of fate, her egg was recklessly smuggled into a human city to be studied. Being raised secretly in a proper society, without ever seeing another Vex, Rythica is forced into a constant internal struggle as brutal and unfamiliar instincts war with the alien life lessons imparted by her unlikely guardians.
What is nature, and what is nurture?
As the first Vex hive queen to ever learn politics, strategy, and more, grows towards maturity, the world can only hope that mercy is something that can be taught.
Because a Vex never forgives and certainly never forgets.
What to expect:
- Heavy emphasis on character development and dialogue
Least of the three is the occupation by the Valoisian Empire, which the people have grudgingly learned to live with.
The second is the Rot, spawned by the spells the invaders used during their crusade: Magic spoiled and twisted has infested the fertile meadows, lively rivers and deep forests of Loegrion, turning the very land against its inhabitants and granting a perverted mirror of life to things that should be dead.
Third is the oldest and most dangerous curse: Werewolves, big as horses and hungry for human flesh. It’s this curse that, if left alone, would kill the most, if it weren’t for people like the noble House Feleke, hunters and sworn enemies of the monsters.
Greg Feleke, youngest of four, has it all figured out. He’s going to do his part in slowing the spread of the third curse—for a few years, until he’s made enough money to get by on his own. Mostly, he wants to prove to his overbearing family he has what it takes to join the family business.
However, when his opportunity finally arrives, it all goes wrong. Greg is bitten, and suddenly finds himself running from his own family. But while hiding on the edges of society, he learns that the three curses might be closer connected than anyone knew—and that the cure might be more fantastic and yet closer at hand that anyone could have dreamed.
The Dragon captures the Princess. The brave knight appears to save her and slays the Dragon. Wooed by his gallantry, they both live happily ever after. I'm certain you've heard a variation of this tired fable countless times before. Real life isn't so idyllic, though. Far stranger, I've recently discovered!
I'm a Princess too — at least, I used to be. While exploring the countryside a terrible event occurred and my life was plunged into danger. But instead of being captured by a Dragon, I turned into one! Acting on my draconic instincts I was able to defend myself and save my life. Wonderful! Now there's just one large, fire breathing problem: How do I turn back to normal?
Um, I didn't ask for any of this, you know? I'm the Princess! I have a Kingdom to run, I can't be a Dragon! Why did this happen to me? And what am I going to do about it?
A fantasy novel with anthropomorphic characters, hand-drawn illustrations, and DRAGONS! Expect some slice of life before delving into adventure after Princess Asha transforms in this chapter. This novel also contains queer characters and relationships, so if that makes you uncomfortable then please look elsewhere for stories. My labor isn't for you.
New chapters are currently on an extended hiatus for Life Events™ and the production of printed books, merchandise, and more! Check out the Discord if you want updates on when the story will resume!
Clandestina is a realm of secrets, fairies, and dark magics. Among the nobles there is talk of a goddess of death, and a forbidden magic she grants to those that follow her-- cræft that can heal injuries that should be fatal or even bring back the dead. But she asks for much in return; blood and sometimes even life itself.
Pierre Salvador has just returned to court after finishing his studies and becoming a surgeon. But as he flirts with his childhood friend Elizabeth Anne, Mora, The Lady of Death, waits for him.
I do not take my books down from Royal Road. I do edit, polish, and rewrite things for the published release. (Vol 1 is just short.)
Her body's a riddle, each hunt and every morsel devoured reveals another piece.
Magic, the currency of power in every corner of the world—pity poor Jade was born without a shred of it. No mana veins, no core to speak of, and as if that weren’t dire enough, she had the audacity to be half beast-kin. Scorn, ridicule, and outright bullying became her daily companions. That is, until one glorious day when she found herself kidnapped by a cult and tossed headfirst into some dodgy ritual.
Naturally, things went pear-shaped. But with chaos comes change—not just skin-deep, of course. Now a dragonling, her body has become a lethal, upgradeable weapon, and her mind? That’s a different battlefield entirely. And someone really ought to explain why the thrill of the hunt sends her pulse racing... and why, for the love of all things sacred, do those blasted monsters taste so irresistibly good?
What to expect:
- A monster evolution system, with Skills, Magic and Mutations - This is a weak to strong story and Protagonist needs to sharpen her skills instead of just making numbers go up. - Combat, power-ups, unique skills and mutation merges for powerful abilities
