Synopsis

An AI is born in a lab, their head full of information they never learned, and emotions they can’t comprehend. They’re forced to quickly learn how to live, how to exist, how to be, in their own way, human.
When her support is ripped away from her for reasons out of her control, will she learn to live on her own? Or will she succumb to the terrors of her mind?

When my partner was in the hospital for ten days, I needed some way to deal with the emotions I was feeling. Born of Silicon was born of those very emotions. Without their constant support over the past year, this book would have never been finished.

And this isn't even mentioning all the opposition that I may face from those supposedly on my side of this stupid war that I find myself so abruptly pulled into.

Sure it sounds all fun, but waking up as a damn android on a desolate and dead starship in the middle of interstellar space is not good for your mental health. Author's Note: This story can be pretty heavy at times. T/W's include: Gore, death, profanity, sexual themes (no descriptions), drugs. Honestly, my novel might be a list of war crimes one day. This story was highly influenced by some downer moments in my life as the characters learn that they can accept the darkness in them and embrace the light. As tragic as elements of this story might be, it is about overcoming tragedy. I hope you'll enjoy it.
