The Zenithian Dao
Just as there are riches beyond riches, mountains beyond mountains, and heavens beyond heavens, so too are there daos beyond daos.
Some daos are Common Rank, some are Bronze Rank, some are Silver. A rare few are Gold…
To ascend in cultivation, one must refine their dao to a higher rank. This is the eternal pursuit of every cultivator.
But Li Wei has been cast out of that pursuit. Once a proud disciple, he is now a cripple, reduced to a menial servant of his sect. The same disciples who once called him “elder brother” now greet him with disgust, mockery, and pity.
Until Li Wei discovers the Heavenly Dao Lotus of legend.
After consuming the lotus, he awakens a lethal yet terrifying ability, but chooses to hide his mended cultivation base from his sect.
Unfortunately for Li Wei, he has already drawn the attention of a princess from the immortal realm, one who intends to use him to elevate her own dao.
But neither Li Wei nor the princess are aware that the lotus he ate was not the Heavenly Dao Lotus at all.
Li Wei had eaten something far, far rarer—something no mortal, immortal, or god was ever meant to consume—and the price for eating it… can either take him to the zenith of all daos, or condemn him to a life of pain, servitude and misery, where death would be a mercy.
