Carve It on My Bones
My Fair Lady meets Count of Monte Cristo but with forcefem and giant robots.
Held captive against ‘her’ will, her body altered and augmented without her consent, the newly christened Nasidiena Melusina Hexa finds herself shaped into an instrument of someone else’s desires, forced to master the arts of politics and war alike.
But as Melusina finds herself an increasingly polished tool, her greatest challenge may be holding on to herself in spite of the institutions arrayed against her, a task made more challenging by the fact that Melusina has no clue at all of what she wants to be.
Carve It on my Bones is a trans lesbian mecha drama exploring themes of dehumanization, trauma, messy gender and sexuality, and the difficulty of remaking yourself when all the materials available to you are irredeemably tainted.
