Synopsis

One minute I was scrubbing algae off a fish tank at Peculiar Pets. The next I awake on a fantasy world ruled by the System who applies skills, stats, and classes.

No sword. No fireball.
Just the Monster Merchant Class.

I can capture, trade, and manage monsters. Which means venturing into wild and dangerous places where the prizes have claws, teeth, as well as the occasional desire to eat me.

But monsters sell. And the rarer and deadlier they are, the higher the price. I’m not looking to be a hero; I just want a comfy life, and I know exactly how to make that happen.

I’m not here to slay monsters. I’m here to sell them!

What to expect:

- Gradual strength progression. Meaningful growth. The MC is a normal guy dumped into the Narutoverse, starts out weak and has to work and struggle for everything he gains.

- "Slow" paced. My writing style is a zoomed-in look camera that follows the protagonist. It might seem slow, but I ensure something is always happening to progress the plot forward.

- Gritty and often bloody fights and actions scenes with a focus on taijutsu—you'll see individual combat, team fights, and large-scale battle.

- A different take on the Narutoverse. The world is full of superhuman mercenaries with liscenes-to-kill—that along with the protagonist's struggles paint the world in a much darker light.

- Additions and expansion to the "chakra" power system. I consider myself a conservative when it comes to adapting the power system—and aim to retain the original feel while highlighting the best parts.

- The Outsider's Resolve version of Narutoverse uses the [Naruto Manga] as the base—with additions from anime, books, and even Boruto (though very less likely).

I am trying to go with a survival/"no modern tech" setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.

It turns more political between the various clans later on.
