Not originally from this world. Experimented on without consent. Exiled by her own people.

In a world ruled by levels, skills, and well-defined progression, Nivi, a young coeurl beastkin, is falling behind.

At level 8, she still hasn’t received her first skill, and she’s painfully aware of how far behind she lags compared to her friend Lex, a hunter apprentice already showing signs of greatness.

Everyone keeps reassuring her. “Some people don’t awaken a skill until level 10,” they say. “You’ll get there. Just be patient.”

Nivi believed them. She believed the day she earned her first skill would be a day of celebration.

She wasn’t expecting it to be the day her life shattered.

… For the third time.

The series primarily features anthropomorphic characters including the protagonist which may be a turn off to some readers. The references to things like snouts and muzzles happen relatively rarely though, so you may be able to picture the characters as monster girls instead.

I'm not a native English speaker/writer, so don't expect expert level writing. If you find any writing mistake, you can point them out in a comment and I'll fix them asap!

I started writing this fanfic out of boredom and due to the lack of "So I'm a Spider, So What?" fanfics on the internet, so don't expect an award-winning level plot with gripping . I would appreciate constructive criticism and new ideas to add to the mix.

The whole gender bender thing is just there cause I wanna write about a female protagonist even though I don't know much about women's life perspective. You can just ignore it and consider this a fem mc fanfic.

I will mostly focus on the "So I'm a Spider, So What?" world, but the protagonist might go to other worlds for a number of reason. In such cases, I'll either create an entire new fic where I post such arcs, or normally add them here with an attached tag behind the chapter name.

I try to keep a semi-regular update schedule, but I keep in mind that I'm college student with limited time and a busy unstable schedule. Missed or delayed uploads will be fairly common.

The elements in this fanfic are not mine except for my own additions to the worldview, specifically (The protagonist, the new monsters, the OCs etc...) and they all belong to the author of the wonderful novel "So I'm a Spider, So What?", Okina Baba.

Content Warning: Throughout this story, you can expect instances of abuse, child endangerment, rape, sexual assault, and talk of suicide, amongst other things. Shuuta's past before becoming Lyudmila Springfield is especially dark and cruel. I will have Content Warnings at the beginning of such chapters

What to Expect - Overall: This is a story about revenge, of course, as well as Mila learning to be a chimera. We'll follow her on her ascension to power, and it won't all be sunshine and rainbows. She'll fail, she'll mess up, and she'll learn from her mistakes to take full advantage of her second chance as Lyudmila Springfield. Her growth of power will be mostly steady, though there will be some jumps here and there as she assimilates certain beings and monsters. And while she will grow to become the most powerful, that will take a long while.

What to Expect - Romance: Mila will have multiple love interests, so while it might technically be a harem, she won't sleep with anyone woman that happens to look her way. Since she's a chimera, Mila's lovemaking will probably get weird. The sex scenes? They will be explicit.

What to Expect - LitRPG: Yes, this is a LitRPG, but the primary focus isn't on hard stats, but instead on skills. Levels are still important, though, but don't expect a detailed update after every little chapter.

What to Expect - Tags: Some of the below tags won't necessarily show up until later. For example, while the main character has fun with male and female genitalia with their lovers, and maybe once or twice with both before swapping back to what they're famililar with, they don't officially become a futanari (and maintain that status/identity going forward until the end of the story) until Chapter Eighty-Five - Part Three. It does happen late, so I want to be up front about that.
