Synopsis

Would you sacrifice your soul for a chance at eternity?

I remember my old life; It was decent, but nothing special. Those memories lingered in my new life; a blessed life. I was born an elf with a loving family, in an empire that no nation could hope to challenge. I had a peaceful existence, and plenty of opportunities with a long life ahead of me.

The first sign came when I was six, when my half-brother offered a confection suspiciously similar to that from a game I played a few months before my death. Then came the magician, and finally, the knight.

Empire and Kingdom, two entities destined to war, and my only reference for the inevitable. I searched for a solution, anything to survive what was coming. But every answer led to the same conclusion – I needed power. And I needed it fast.
