Synopsis

(This is the primary ongoing fiction page for Fallen Lands. Up to book 3 of the Fallen Lands series has been completed. Please be aware that reading this Synopsis or any portion of this book will be full of spoilers for books one, two, and three so stop now if you want to avoid them! With the last known bastion of The Fallen in ruins and the remaining Greater Devils isolated from civilization by thousands of miles and a monster-filled ocean, Evelyn and her crew set their course for Vigilance, hoping for rest and a chance to build a new life. But this victory has not come without a price. The memories of those she was forced to kill and the devastation she left behind weigh heavily on Evelyn’s heart, casting a shadow over her every step.

As she settles into her new role in society, navigating the complexities of studying, politics, and intrigue, the world begins to tip into chaos. Nations race against each other to reclaim the Fallen Lands, monsters surge back into the continent, and political tensions soar, forcing everyone to adapt to the new norms.

That means things move very, very quickly (my Excel spreadsheet hates me) and, regretfully, we often spend very little time with the people, places and things in each life. Some might call it an anthology. In Volume 1, each life is literally only a chapter. In Volume 2, the word count is in the same range, but some lives are split into multiple chapters.

Volume 1 (Lives 1-16), Volume 2 (Lives 17-25), and Volume 3 (the rest) have been completed and released, concluding the story. Volume 3 is regretfully not up to par, but I don't intend to return to the story to fix it.
