Seven finds himself bonded to Califire, a hexblade created in the evil pits of Nythrondor, which isn’t quite the bargain he had in mind. Plus, while they battled the final dungeon, Snitch upset a gang of locals including orc enforcers. But he did finish their guild headquarters. Unfortunately, Seven will get no rest as a teacher named Sanya Soleil wants to see him urgently. And there’s worse, shunned by all of Quintasia’s respectable guilds, Geraint joins a shady shadow guild called Crow where he rapidly gains power. Even with all that about to swamp him, life is still good. Keller, his first love, is by his side, along with Tamereth, Sinta and Jez. There was a time when Seven could only dream of having one girlfriend, and now he has four. Not only that, but the rather over-the-top Eve is waiting in the wings, fluttering her eyelids.
