Humanity needs a protector. Instead, they get… Him.

Humanity had lost an ancient interdimensional war between the forces of good and evil. And now, demons, at the behest of their devil overlords, are in the process of exterminating all of human existence.

In a final act of despair, the angels banished a lonely world into a starless stretch of a lifeless universe, where demonic forces can barely reach. All they need now is a selfless soul who will take the mantle of the Final Guardian, an entity whose entire existence revolves around postponing the end of human life. It would take a true saint to accept such a burden.

Unfortunately for them, their volunteer is no saint. And sadly for the demons, he is something far worse.

Any time he dies, he will revive to continue his mission.

Any time he aids humanity, he will grow more powerful.

There is no winning the war against the infinitely vast army of demons. But he might just be crazy enough to postpone losing. Forever.

Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the multiverse, and were given a grace period in which they could expand their domains in relative safety. Once that period is up, however, the created universes will be able to interact with each other and other universes...as well as be at the mercy of the Void. I am one of those souls, and it's not easy. Between trying to raise up gods to defend my realm with, guiding mortals, accidentally making a xianxia world, and dealing with my own children, I have my work cut out for me. Now I know why back on Earth gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done.

What to expect: Worldbuilding in the most literal sense, lots of POV's, Xianxia elements, and more. The LitRPG elements are very light, be warned if you're coming in for that.
