Kael Brelgson stands in the capital of the Nearing World confused and disturbed by the events of the past few weeks. His brother Aemmon is dead and Kael has been ripped from his comfortable, anonymous life.

In an attempt to reunite with his father, he rushes into the heart of strife. Zodra, the last citadel standing against the servants of Amird the Fallen Seraph, prepares for war. Those within her walls must decide where and when they will fight.

Kael must choose as well. He senses the calling within. Should he run from it, or embrace the Creator’s design and face life as a New Seraph and all of the dangers that life entails?

In Book II of The Seraphinium new threats arise, old friendships are renewed, powerful allies are unveiled and ancient evils arise in the frozen North. The North that beckons Kael with the answers to his questions.

What to expect:

- Gradual strength progression. Meaningful growth. The MC is a normal guy dumped into the Narutoverse, starts out weak and has to work and struggle for everything he gains.

- "Slow" paced. My writing style is a zoomed-in look camera that follows the protagonist. It might seem slow, but I ensure something is always happening to progress the plot forward.

- Gritty and often bloody fights and actions scenes with a focus on taijutsu—you'll see individual combat, team fights, and large-scale battle.

- A different take on the Narutoverse. The world is full of superhuman mercenaries with liscenes-to-kill—that along with the protagonist's struggles paint the world in a much darker light.

- Additions and expansion to the "chakra" power system. I consider myself a conservative when it comes to adapting the power system—and aim to retain the original feel while highlighting the best parts.

- The Outsider's Resolve version of Narutoverse uses the [Naruto Manga] as the base—with additions from anime, books, and even Boruto (though very less likely).

I am trying to go with a survival/"no modern tech" setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.

It turns more political between the various clans later on.

All characters are +18 including the monsters, who are sapient with the ability to consent. Some scenes have villains committing acts of sexual violence, but there will be no non-consensual sex scenes with the protagonist.
