Synopsis

A litrpg kingdom builder set in a cultivation world.

After meeting Truck-kun, Benton, a grandfather and an overall nice man, is transmigrated into the body of Chao Su in a brutal, might-makes-right cultivation world.

Things could be worse. He is given choices that come with neat advantages, and his career in middle management gives him ample experience leading people. Those skills should translate to running a sect.

Unfortunately, things aren’t that simple. Benton quickly realizes that his plan to let his recruits fight for him won’t work. He’ll need to get up to speed on life in a cultivation world fast because danger is on the way. A beast tide threatens his new territory. Rival sects don’t like the balance of power being upset. Worse, the demonic cultivators that destroyed Chao Su’s prior sect are still out there.

What to Expect:

– This is not a cultivation story. The MC cannot cultivate and advances through cultivation realms by earning points from the System.

– No artificial emphasis.

– The MC makes decisions based on empathy and emotions, treating his sect members like he’s their doting grandfather. He’s not a typical Xianxia protagonist.

– The story isn’t exactly cozy, but it’s on the lower end as far as tension goes. If a rating of 1 is no tension at all and 10 is drop the protagonist from the frying pan into the fire, rinse, repeat, the readers agree that this story is about a 4.

– No sexual content or a harem.

– M-W-F-Sa-Su with occasional bonus chapters

– Average Chapter Length = Approximately 2,000 Words

– MC goes from weak to strong to OP.

– Though the story is not a comedy, the tone is mostly light, and it contains humorous elements.

– There is some romance between side characters. There are no current plans for the MC to have a love interest. Just to be clear (and I’m only mentioning this because it’s the internet and … people), there is absolutely no possibility that the sixty-year-old isekai’d protagonist will develop a romantic relationship with any of his teenage disciples. He views them as his grandkids.

– Minor swearing occasionally.

Longer Summary:
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the multiverse, and were given a grace period in which they could expand their domains in relative safety. Once that period is up, however, the created universes will be able to interact with each other and other universes...as well as be at the mercy of the Void. I am one of those souls, and it's not easy. Between trying to raise up gods to defend my realm with, guiding mortals, accidentally making a xianxia world, and dealing with my own children, I have my work cut out for me. Now I know why back on Earth gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done.

What to expect: Worldbuilding in the most literal sense, lots of POV's, Xianxia elements, and more. The LitRPG elements are very light, be warned if you're coming in for that.

This is a rewrite of an old story. It's been about six years since I dropped the previous, and having grown as an author and person, I decided to revisit the concept. The old one will be left up, for anyone who wants to revisit it or look at it from a legacy standpoint.

Infinite Realm is a story that will follow two main characters at the start, with a few more joining the cast a bit later. The story will be told in two different time periods: past and present up until volume 3. Past chapters take place in the past on Earth, and take form of flashbacks that follow the two as they struggle to survive and grow their powers in the world changed by the Framework. The main story is in the present.

This story is a mix of LitRPG and Xianxia, and it will have Classes as well as Cultivation systems. There are two main characters, and a few others that are introduced later.

The MC focus will change from volume to volume, with the first being focused on Ryun, and the second on Zach (we are currently in Volume 4). Other MCs will still have chapters dedicated to them, but the focus will be on the main volume MC.
