Synopsis

Four frightened, steam-driven, robotic dolls—a dancer, a clown, a Spartan warrior, and a Tibetan monk—go on a quest to rescue their creator, an old man who’s being held hostage by criminals. Traveling through a strange and threatening world, the dolls’ hardships teach them not only how to survive, but what it means to be a humanoid. By fulfilling their impossible mission, they inadvertently renew their creator’s lease on life.
