Meet Threadbare. He is twelve inches tall, full of fluff, and really, really bad at being a hero. Magically animated and discarded by his maker as a failed experiment, he is saved by a little girl. But she’s got problems of her own, and he might not be able to help her.

Fortunately for the little golem, he’s quick to find allies, learn skills, gain levels, and survive horrible predicaments. Which is good, because his creator has a whole lot of enemies…

Milo lives in a steel cave within a man-made mountain of steel and concrete. He spends his days repairing the machinery that keeps the habitat livable and tinkering with the prosthetics that help his twisted body move about through the small tunnels and air shafts that are his world. He's as much a piece of discarded machinery as the equipment he keeps running. He likes to fix things, which is good because he sometimes breaks things.

But lately, he's been getting bored, and for a super-genius, that's a bad thing. Luckily, the criminals he escaped from are back. Stealing everything from them will keep him busy, especially when he steals a new MK7 immersion pod used to enter the world of Genesis. Milo has always lived in the tunnels, and now he's a Tunnel Rat in looks, not just name. He wants to go deep into the world and find the ancient mysteries left by races that delved deep and stayed below.

He'll find new mysteries to solve, new friends, things to fix, terrifying creatures to aggravate, and things to break. Hopefully, he fixes more than he breaks, or this new world might be in trouble.

And what’s up with the [Levels], [Classes], and [Skills] stuff? Specifically, her [Hoard] and [Notoriety] stats. She gets stronger the more gold she has? The more people are terrified of her? No wonder the human kingdoms want her head on a spike, with motivations like those. Dragons in the past must have been seriously unsavory sorts. Maybe she can find less … evil … ways to progress?

What are the odds taxes and propaganda can get her where she needs to be? Protection in exchange for tithes, and campaigns to make her seem scarier than she is?

That would make her a politician, wouldn’t it? A giant flying lizard politician.

Just to inform people early: There is no evil corporation looking to control the world with VR, there is no Krueger-esque "if you die in the game, you die for real.", and this isn't a story of some OP harem-loving god of the system. Nothing wrong with those stories this just isn't one. This is a simple story about a guy playing a game and finally 3.) This story is extremely rough, i did very little editing, this is just me gauging interest really.

The Dramatic Dungeon – A Dungeon Core Story

This Story is a Dungeon Core Story, delivered from the perspective of said Dungeon Core, "The Playwright". The LitRPG elements of Levels and Skills, Classes and XP are all there, but there are no "Stats" or "HP" (at least they are not measured or displayed) and there are no numbers to crunch (other than Level or Skill level, but those don't crunch so good). It is fairly slow burn as well.

I aim to shift the perspective quite a bit, to show the characters growth from multiple POVs, but I am a novice writer and this is my first story, so don't expect anything fancy.

Update Schedule: 1 Chapter per Week, usually Saturday or Sunday around 17:00/18:00 CET respectively
