Upon reaching the age of nine, dozens of children across the Growing World regain the memories of their previous lives on Earth and try to come to terms with their new situations. Met with a strange and magical world, finding a practicable answer to this question became an urgent matter for many.
Discovering his new world’s access to magic had stunted the development of Empyrical Science, Doro’s answer is to recruit older crafters and researchers to start an industrial revolution while remaining under the radar by letting others take credit.
Being reborn alone, in a strange forest, and in the body of an owl, Emi found herself with a different set of priorities. Somehow recovering a pair of arms, reuniting with her old friends, and funding her endeavors by taking credit for Earth’s music.
They are not alone in this, as the natural disaster behind their death claimed a great number of their former fellow university students, all with their own personal dreams and hangups.
