After accidentally stabbing a hero to death, Sariel becomes a victim of cancel culture. Join her as the Heroguard tries to cancel her, along with the hostages friends she collects along the way!

When a feral village witch pulls a fast one, Corian the one hit wonder is retired from life. But the Heroguard doesn’t discriminate, especially when nepotism is involved. The temperamental recruit is re-employed by the family necromancer as a creature of undeath, with a mission to track a demon of fire and rot.

– Starts off as slice of grimdark? Or slice of life (if ur life is terrible ig, – I’m not judging). Moves to higher stakes in the second half of act 1.
– Multiple MCs – all events unfold in chronological order, and everything happens for a reason.

I am trying to go with a survival/"no modern tech" setting in this one. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.

It turns more political between the various clans later on.
