Undying Symphony

I was among the many heroes summoned to this world to defeat a great evil. Along with my classmates, we were to destroy the demon king who threatened the world. To do so, we have to become stronger.

However, in one of our missions, it all went wrong. We encountered powerful beings beyond our power to overcome. There was only one way to survive — to sacrifice one of us. I was chosen, not of my own will, but of the desperation of others.

Thrown into the maw of deathless suffering, I was subjected to countless torments, which made me desire death above all else. But it was never granted to me. Filled with grim emotions, I formed new desires, new endeavors, driving me to escape the suffering with all my being, devouring my captors.

And thus, the doors opened, and death emerged. I walk with the shadows of the abyss, I bring with me the towering tides of death, and in my resentful heart carries an undying symphony.
