Synopsis

Hitman Hunter Benowitz retired in order to live a peaceful life raising his kid, but those plans are shattered by their untimely deaths. Unwilling to let his teenager get sent to a new world alone, he convinces a goddess to send him as well, and quickly finds out the consequences of that request are more than he’d bargained for.

Not only does he get transmigrated into the body of a woman, but she seems to be the villainess from one of his kid’s video games. On top of that, the child he thought was a son turns out to be a daughter, which would have been fine except that she also just so happens to have been reincarnated as the Saint chosen by the gods to save the world.

Now he has to find a way to keep her safe while contending with mad clerics, doomsday cultists, and a demon he’s picked up, all while working as the president of a magical university and being a single father.

In short: oy vey.

Hello! This is the author, I originally wrote this story for a NANOWRIMO writing contest a few years ago but had fun and decided to keep developing it.

I wanted to write a story about a wholesome (though not perfect) relationship between a father and his trans daughter, so with that in mind, I want to give a blanket TW for dysphoria and misgendering. This story plays around with gender a lot, which will not always be easy on the characters. Also, it’s written in third person limited perspective, which means characters will sometimes get unintentionally misgendered by other characters. This only ever happens out of ignorance, and it (generally) gets corrected pretty quickly.
