Kat Lightfoot thought that getting a job at the famed Tiffany’s store in New York would be the end to her problems … she has money, new friends, and there’s even an inventor working there who develops new weapons from clockwork, and who cuts diamonds with a strange powered light. This is 1862, after all, and such things are the wonder of the age. But then events take a turn for the worse: men and women wander the streets talking of ‘the darkness’; bodies vanish from morgues across town; and random, bloody attacks on innocent people take place in broad daylight. Soon Kat and her friends are fighting for their lives against a horde of infected people, with only their wits and ingenuity to help them. A steampunked story of diamonds, chutzpah, death and horror from the blood-drenched pen of Sam Stone.

Sixty years ago, humanity was forced to retreat behind massive walls, clinging to survival in a broken world where the old rules no longer mattered.
Although anyone can become an "Awakener," Axel only dreams of taking his sister out of the slums and living a peaceful life within the safety of the walls. But the moment Axel climbed over that wall, everything he knew about his life was thrown into chaos.....
Why? It’s simple. He killed someone... and awakened.
......
There’s always been an invisible hand in this world—pulling strings, rewriting fate.
In his journey to grow stronger, he didn’t just gain power—he found love, forged unbreakable bonds, and uncovered the truth behind his father’s mysterious disappearance. But the deeper he digs, the more twisted the world becomes.
By day, he's an admired awakener—respected, even envied.
By night, he walks a darker path—breaking the rules, peeling back the lies, and unraveling secrets buried for generations. And always, she's there in the shadows—his silent guardian, his only constant.
But when the veil is torn, his secret is out by the invisible hand. And the question is:
Will he join those who rule from the dark? Or will he rise against them—and shatter everything?

A man travels back to the beginning of the apocalypse, there he gets a second chance to do things right. He isn't out to save everyone, just the people he cares for.
In the early days of the Civil War, rumors of gold in the frozen Klondike brought hordes of newcomers to the Pacific Northwest. Anxious to compete, Russian prospectors commissioned inventor Leviticus Blue to create a great machine that could mine through Alaska’s ice. Thus was Dr. Blue’s Incredible Bone-Shaking Drill Engine born.
But on its first test run the Boneshaker went terribly awry, destroying several blocks of downtown Seattle and unearthing a subterranean vein of blight gas that turned anyone who breathed it into the living dead.
Now it is sixteen years later, and a wall has been built to enclose the devastated and toxic city. Just beyond it lives Blue’s widow, Briar Wilkes. Life is hard with a ruined reputation and a teenaged boy to support, but she and Ezekiel are managing. Until Ezekiel undertakes a secret crusade to rewrite history.
His quest will take him under the wall and into a city teeming with ravenous undead, air pirates, criminal overlords, and heavily armed refugees. And only Briar can bring him out alive.
It's been a rough week. First, the job loss, then the unending reports of a mysterious outbreak alongside idiots claiming to have magic powers. You chose to ignore the world, seeking solace in the bottom of a bottle. Now, after a three day bender in your basement, you finally rouse yourself and step outside.
The reality hits you harder than any hangover. The streets are eerily silent. Cars are abandoned, houses are ransacked. It's time to sober up, because survival just became your full-time job.
Zombies are just the beginning.

The Zombie War came unthinkably close to eradicating humanity. Max Brooks, driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched first-hand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of thirty million souls to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet. He recorded the testimony of men, women, and sometimes children who came face-to-face with the living, or at least the undead, hell of that dreadful time. World War Z is the result. Never before have we had access to a document that so powerfully conveys the depth of fear and horror, and also the ineradicable spirit of resistance, that gripped human society through the plague years.
Ranging from the now infamous village of New Dachang in the United Federation of China, where the epidemiological trail began with the twelve-year-old Patient Zero, to the unnamed northern forests where untold numbers sought a terrible and temporary refuge in the cold, to the United States of Southern Africa, where the Redeker Plan provided hope for humanity at an unspeakable price, to the west-of-the-Rockies redoubt where the North American tide finally started to turn, this invaluable chronicle reflects the full scope and duration of the Zombie War.
Most of all, the book captures with haunting immediacy the human dimension of this epochal event. Facing the often raw and vivid nature of these personal accounts requires a degree of courage on the part of the reader, but the effort is invaluable because, as Mr. Brooks says in his introduction, "By excluding the human factor, aren't we risking the kind of personal detachment from history that may, heaven forbid, lead us one day to repeat it? And in the end, isn't the human factor the only true difference between us and the enemy we now refer to as 'the living dead'?"

An unstoppable curse. A dead man displaced from his time. How do you survive the zombie apocalypse when you started it?
Digby Graves, a deceased medieval peasant with delusions of grandeur, is trying to figure out how the hell he ended up in Seattle eight hundred years after his death. Also, why does he have necrotic magic coursing through his zombified body? Added to that is the fact that he made a terrible first impression the moment he woke up by lunging at the first person that came into biting range.
Now, the curse he unleashed is loose in the world. Digby has a target on his back and only fragmented memories of his death. He needs to survive long enough to put the pieces back together, learn what it means to lead the horde, and master his power over the dead. Digby might even find a few accomplices along the way, if he can hold off on eating them.
The end of the world is gonna get weird.
