The Eldritch Cataclysm has arrived, and it's here to stay.
I was a soldier for over a decade before something whisked me away from Earth. Whoever or whatever had done the spiriting away, well, I loved them to death! Things are far more complicated now, and I'm still a soldier, sort of, but instead of shooting at people with guns, I go after monsters with little more than a glorified toothpick in my hand and a few leather straps protecting my body.
Okay, maybe I'm a little bit overreacting, but after hunting monsters for decades, it is hard not to exaggerate. I've seen it monstrous fish that can run on land, flying eyeballs with maws that can gobble up a cow, and then there are dragons. I won't even start with those. My current predicament is a bit worse than usual as we've set out to a faraway monster-infested island, Vosta, to search for Graves. He is one of my best friends, though a bit on the crazy side. He was even banished after blowing up a chunk of the city.
After hearing about a top-of-the-line ship, the Osprey, and its departure for Vosta, my lover Valorie, and I, set out to find him. Two other party members joined us on our trip, too. One is a Dwarven inquisitor named Callick, and the other a Goblin named Banxie. I definitely have no scale that can measure the latter's stupidity and willingness to blow things up, but they're both long-time friends and, well, like family. Where one goes, the others follow.
The only problem? We are nowhere near Vosta. The monsters are much stronger, pitch-black rifts open and spew out all kinds of creatures, and the worst of all, a Dragon has made the land its own. Things quickly change when the Dragon appears in the form of a dangerous but alluring woman. She is very interested in seeing our progress...among other things.

What about turning a shoddy nightclub profitable in the worst part of town? That's more like it!
Stuck with a nightclub after a job gone wrong, Frank has to figure out how to rebuild something he never even wanted. That's just the first of his problems.
Party with orcs, barter with gnomes, drink with dwarves, and make shady deals with the scum of Sankta Varath, the greatest city in all of Steelheart Kingdom. And that's just the first week.
Frank isn’t a manager, he's got zero people skills, and even fewer connections in the business. With a drow for a bartender, a religious zealot for a waitress, an ogre with a sleeping problem for a bouncer, and an orc dancer, just what could go wrong?
About the Series: Mixing slice-of-life with fantasy action, mystery, system management, adopting a ragtag group of rejects, and a game system that screwed the MC by giving him a cursed sub-class, this LitRPG/GameLit series is perfect for readers who enjoy exploring rich world-building and complex characters.
Ash Aldrich forged a legend with his soul hammer, Roq. Now, the real fight begins.
A newly-minted Hammerlord, Ash, finally has a home of his own and a party he’d fight and die for. The next chapter in his life is about to start, but along with that come many responsibilities, like…where do they put the monster trophies? And who gets what room? Sometimes it is good to have simple problems as every new dawn somehow piles on more and more dangers on his plate.
House Domitius is still coming for the smithy and for Ash’s parents. They will stop at nothing, when a familiar face returns with reinforcement, even bending the guild and bank to their whim, or using deadly force.
The Hive Mind unleashes newly evolved horrors at Sentinel Station, and every new wave is more dangerous than the last. Holding the monsters back only serves to prolong the Dawnwatch’s fall, but there’s not much they can do with an even greater threat looming Riftside. Something is picking off adventuring teams one by one, and leaving no witnesses. Peace has become a luxury no one in Dawnwatch can afford.
But the greatest challenge may even come from within, as Roq demands his own breakthrough, and the party weighs on keeping him secret from even Nabeeh and their closest allies.
Fans of Riftside 1 will devour this explosive sequel. If you crave relentless progression, strategic party combat, epic loot, and a crafting system with real stakes, your next addiction is here.
The Riftside war is escalating. Don't get left behind
